Tshukudu Bush Lodge is situated in the game rich Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa. This malaria free park is the fourth largest in southern Africa and is home to over 360 different bird species. Pilanesberg National Park is also home to the Big Five, namely Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Lion and Rhino.
Drive north along William Nicol Drive until you reach the four-way intersection with Witkoppen Road. Turn left into Witkoppen Road towards Lanseria / Roodepoort. Turn right at the intersection with Hans Strijdom Extension on the road towards Broederstroom and Lanseria.
Cross the bridge over the R28 Krugersdorp / Pretoria highway and pass the Lanseria turn off. Continue straight ahead until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn right on the R512 to Brits and follow the directional signs. Continue to the four-way stop and turn left on the R512 / R27 towards Brits / Rustenburg.
Continue past the first Brits turn off. At the signpost R27 Rustenburg / Brits, turn right. On the bridge, turn left towards Rustenburg. Continue until you reach the slipway to the left. Take the slipway and continue on the N4 highway.
You will see a signboard on the left side of the road indicating Pilanesberg to the left on Route 91. Exit left off the highway. At the T-junction, turn right and continue on this road towards Sun City Resort. Pass the Kwa Maritane signboard and Sun Village and turn right at the Bakubung and Tshukudu Bush Lodge signpost.
Follow the road to the Bakubung Gate. At the Bakubung Reception, ask for the Tshukudu office. The transfer to Tshukudu Bush Lodge is at 14:00 from Bakubung.
