Animals present in Pilanesberg National Park include the Big Five as well as Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Sable, Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo, Crocodile, Springbok and Impala to name a few. Birds usually found in different habitats, such as the Red eyed Bulbul and Black eyed Bulbul co-exist in the park due to a rare overlap of vegetation zones.Tours

There are migrant as well as permanent inhabitants. Some species eat carrion or live prey while others feed on seeds, fruit or tiny water organisms.
