Days 1 - 2: Sun City Resort, North West, South Africa
Pick up your rental car from O.R Tambo International Airport upon arrival for the 2-hour drive to Sun City Resort. Your time at Sun City Resort is spent at leisure, enjoying the many attractions and facilities of the resort. Maybe try your hand at gambling in the casino, splash out at the Valley of the Waves or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.
Day 3: Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve
From Sun City Resort, drive to the Big Five Madikwe Game Reserve, about 3-4 hours from the resort. This afternoon after check in at your safari lodge, you will have your first exciting game drive which doubles as a night drive where you can see fascinating nocturnal wildlife. You will return to camp for a delicious dinner.
Days 4: Madikwe Game Reserve
This day will be filled with exciting guided safari game drives early in the mornings and late in the afternoons, with time to just relax and get spoiled by the lodge staff.
Bring your camera to capture the amazing array of African wildlife. Wildlife you may be lucky enough to see in Madikwe Game Reserve near Sun City Resort include black and white rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah and wild dog.
Day 5: Madikwe - Johannesburg - Cape Town
After breakfast and your final morning game drive, drive back to Johannesburg to connect with your flight to Cape Town, which departs late in the afternoon.
Pick up your rental car at Cape Town International and drive to the city where you will be staying at a luxury Boutique Hotel in Cape Town with lovely Table Mountain views.
Day 6 - 8: Cape Town
Enjoy delicious made-to-order breakfasts at your hotel before heading off each day to explore the cosmopolitan and scenic city of Cape Town. Explore the Cape Peninsula coast with its magnificent beaches, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the historic Cape Winelands.
For some retail therapy, the V&A Waterfront is only 5 minutes drive from the hotel. Here you can go on Robben Island and sunset cruises, shop and wine and dine.
Day 9: Cape Town
