Manyane Resort has a self-guided walking trail which offers environmental education as well as game viewing and bird watching. The Pilanesberg exists within a transition zone between the dry Kalahari and wetter Lowveld regions, commonly referred to as bushveld. Unique overlaps of mammals, birds and vegetation occur because of this transition area.
